It is extremely important that we continue to identify issues\/lessons arising out of major incidents and that we share those lessons to improve patient outcome in future events\/incident and indeed that it informs our planning for such events. The development of this template as suggested in the paper can only serve to improve our levels of preparedness across the world. The development of more uniform plans and response arrangements will be aided by the identification of lessons from incidents that can be rapidly shared. NHS England supports the development of the major incident reporting template and will work with colleagues to encourage adoption and reporting through existing structures and arrangements.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
